Last year while on my way to my friend wedding reception at Segamat, I pass by brown signboard, "Air Terjun Sungai Bantang, Bekok". Hmm wait... I never heard this place before. Since then I always wanted to check this place out.

Initiated from a simple lunch break discussion, my office mate and I decided to set our foot there on 17 Jan 2010. We all gathered at Machap RnR north bound at 8am that morning. The ride was smooth and relaxing. It gets more fun once the road lead into the recreational forest. I even wind down windows and turn off air-cond just to enjoy the cool breeze from outside as we enter the forest. We arrived at 9:30am, everybody looks excited to have our first picnic in 2010.

The place is neat and tidy, not so crowded. We prepare the bbq right away after set the mats at picnic spot. I bother less the bbq as the cool river flowing splash had my interest more. I did several cool 3 1/2 back sommersault jump (this is not actually happen)... and when into the water drastically (don't imagine it). It really bring back my old days while do 'ponteng' during my primary school. Yes I regret of 'ponteng' but really appreciate the experience.

We all spend much time in the water the evening. I shivering so much to withstand the chilly water. We had really fun time there.By 4pm, we began to pack thing up and ready to go home. We took another group picture in front of the main entrance and head back to JB by 5pm.
