a week in penang

I took long leave and went back to my hometown. This is the longest leave I ever took since start working and first time going back with Persona. The journey is ok, comfortable and quiet fast too. I broke my personal record travel time from JB to Penang. Previously +-8 hours, now +-7 hours and 15 minutes. Thank to 1.6cc engine and auto cruise function, not forget to thank the Most Merciful for blessing and safety along the way. Arrived at Juru about 6am. While looking for Mosque to perform Subuh prayer, I observed the sky so beautiful and force me to snap a few pictures nearby a power grid tower.
Later that evening I went to Queensbay Mall. It actually my first time there. It is quite a huge mall but only 2 things really caught my eyes. First, people flying kite at the open car space... few big stunt kites were flew, it look so cool .Wow... I need one of those. Second things is replica of bat mobile, one of the tenant shop displayed DC Comic Superhero outfit including the replica of bat mobile in conjunction of Christmas eve.
I happened to see Chingay while in Penang. The parade preparation start at Komtar Junction head to Padang Kota Lama. So along the way, everybody enjoy to see the Chingay group exercising and entertaining. Glad I went there by motorcycle or else got stuck in traffic jam as many roads got close.
A week in Penang... it is quiet an interesting experience.

2009 summary

Last year about the same day as today, I want to start blogging (at least few articles) as one of my resolution for 2009. Yes, I believe I have pin down this one. I'm not good in writing during school days.
2009 was not an easy and much fun year. Personal project planned since 2008 was failed which should be my biggest milestone for this year. Old pal, Muhammad Zafuan have past away on 7th Dec, we met for first time after 12 years in Aug. 2008... al-Fatihah. These are 2 key points of sad and disappointment of 2009.
2009 also did bring joy, achievement and prosperity. I went to Bandung for 2nd time early May. Join x-kt 10th years anniversary gathering held in Terengganu. Bought new car and camera.
2010, time to change. Changes that would change my life forever. 2 new personal project would kick-off as early January.
